Life is naturally marked by highs and lows that are sometimes welcomed, and sometimes, overwhelming and difficult to navigate. The daily responsibilities of caring for yourself and your loved ones are challenging enough, but when you add the weight of trauma, low self-esteem, interpersonal conflict, life transitions, anxiety, and other stressors, your day-to-day can seem daunting and unmanageable.  

As someone who has supported people with these challenges and experienced them myself, I believe that people are inevitably impacted and shaped by their environments and life experiences, in both helpful and unhelpful ways. These life experiences can foster resilience, confidence, and resourcefulness, but they can also give way to negative beliefs and interpretations of self and others that make it difficult to exist in the world as one would want.

My approach is focused on helping people learn about themselves, including how their strengths, difficulties, beliefs, and past experiences affect their current outlook and satisfaction with life. This awareness of self will allow you to respond to your emotions and needs more constructively, and address beliefs and behaviors that are no longer serving you, thus creating a more balanced and healthy approach to the natural, but difficult demands of life.
